Interpretation:
Whether the fusion reaction can be used for the production of electricity or not is to be determined. Consecutively describe its advantages and problems arises due to the fusion reaction.
Concept Introduction:
Both fission and fusion are nuclear reactions that produce energy, but the applications are not the same. Fission is the splitting of a heavy, unstable nucleus into two lighter nuclei, and fusion is the process where two light nuclei combine together releasing vast amounts of energy. The nuclear fusion reaction has an enormous scope for the production of electricity.
