Question
Chapter 23.5, Problem 3TQ
Summary Introduction
To review:
The specificity of natural killer cells to target only infected antibody-coated host cells.
Introduction:
The innate immune cells respond to the infection by engulfing and killing the invading pathogen. There is a specialized set of cells, specifically for the invaders that destroy the host cells. The recruitment of other cells may occur during inflammation that can quickly identify the microbial pathogen and clear the site of infection.
