The nephron loop (loop of Henle) is a U-shaped partof the renal tubule mostly found in the medulla.Nephron loop has descending and ascending limb. The loop is divided into two segments namely; thick segment and thin segment. Thick segment is lined with simple cuboidal epithelium while the thin segment is lined with simple squamous epithelium.
