Introduction:

Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) is a glycoprotein polypeptide hormone which works in collaboration with LH to facilitate proper functioning of the reproductive system. FSH is secreted by the pituitary gland. The female ovaries contain immature follicles, which in turn mature and support the oocytes.
