Program plan:

Design the form:

• Place two label box controls on the form, and change its name and properties.
• Place one text box control on the form, and change its name and properties to get the string from user.
• Place one command button control on the form, and change its name and properties to calculate the number of vowels and consonants in given string and then display it into label box.

In code window, write the code:

Program.cs:

• Include the required libraries.
• Define the namespace “VowelsandConsonants”.
  • Define a class “Program”.
    • Define a constructor for the class.
    • Define required functions to run “Form1”.

Form1.cs:

• Include the required libraries.
• Define namespace “VowelsandConsonants”.
  • Define a class “Form1”.
  • In btnFind() method,
    • Call findVowels() method to find the number of vowels and then display it and call findConsonants() method to find the number of consonants and then display it in label box.
  • In findVowels() method,
    • Declare the required variables.
    • Calculate the number of vowels present in the given string.
    • Return the number of vowels.
  • In findConsonants() method,
    • Declare the required variables.
    • Calculate the number of consonants present in the given string.
    • Return the number of consonants.
  • Close the application.

Set the Form Control properties in Properties window as follows:
