Secundus, Johannes (sā-kön’dös). A Dutch poet; born at The Hague, Nov. 1511; died at Utrecht, probably 1536. His best-known work is ‘Kisses’ (1539), consisting of amatory poems. His ‘Poetical Works’ were published by his brother in 1541.
