Chapter 31.9, Problem 1MQ
Summary Introduction
Tetanus is a critical life-threatening disease which is caused by exotoxins producing species of Clostridium bacteria. Two species, Clostridium tetani, and Clostridium perfringens are mainly involved in causing tetanus. These forms of bacteria are obligate anaerobic, rod-shaped, and primarily found in soil.
