Introduction:
After the fertilization of egg, the zygote gets implanted in the uterus for its further development. As the development progresses, the embryo forms the three main germ layers from which, various organs and organs systems originate. These are ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm. Ectoderm is the outermost layer followed by mesoderm and endoderm being the innermost layer.
