Introduction:
The biosphere currently supplies the basic needs for over six billion humans in the form of natural resources. There are two kinds of natural resources- renewable resources and non-renewable resources.
Explanation of Solution
The resources that are replaced by natural processes faster than they are consumed are called renewable resources. Solar energy is referred to as a renewable resource as the supply of the raw product to be endless, which in this case is sunlight.
Agricultural plants, clean water, animals,as well as clean air are regarded as renewable because normally,as its rate of replacement is faster than consumptions. However, the supply of these resources is not unlimited.
Thus, the resources that are replaced by natural processes faster than they are consumed are known as renewable resources.
