Explanation of Solution
Single-celled organisms are also called as unicellular organisms and they consist of a single cell. Reproduction and cell division are the same thing in single-celled organisms. This is because the multicellular organisms undergo several rounds of cell division before reproduction. Thus, the cell division in the multicellular organisms is generated by the specialized reproductive cells such as the sperm and egg.
