Previously in this chapter you saw the card_dealer.py
▪ Numeric cards are assigned the value they have printed on them. For example, the value of the 2 of spades is 2, and the value of the 5 of diamonds is 5.
▪ Jacks, queens, and kings are valued at 10.
▪ Aces are valued at 1 or 11, depending on the player's choice.
The program should deal cards to each player until one player’s hand is worth more than 21 points. When that happens, the other player is the winner. (It is possible that both players’ hands will simultaneously exceed 21 points, in which case neither player wins.) The program should repeat until all the cards have been dealt from the deck. If a player is dealt an ace, the program should decide the value of the card according to the following rule: The ace will be worth 11 points, unless that makes the player’s hand exceed 21 points. In that case, the ace will be worth 1 point.

- Transcribed Image Text JAVA Programming Problem: In the game of "Assassin's Creed", you control a ship with a cannon which is attacking a large enemy Assassin's Creed, armed with many guns. Your goal is to destroy as many of the guns as possible. The battle field is a 2D Cartesian grid, where your cannon is located at the origin. The enemy Assassin's Creed is a horizontal line segment located from the coordinates (X1, Y) to (X2, Y). There are exactly (X2 - X1 + 1) guns on the ship, located at the integer points (X1, Y), (X1+1, Y), ..., (X2, Y). However, the problem is, you cannot always fire at a gun. There are supernatural rocks located at all points of the battlefield whose X and Y coordinates are both integers. In order to fire successfully at an enemy's gun, the line connecting your cannon and that gun must not go through any rocks. Develop a JAVA code to output the number of the enemy battleship's guns that your cannon can destroy. The Faery has the power to make an object disappear. Everything that the faery touches disappear from the scene. Create an interactive game where the user can click one object at a time from the scene; then, the faery faces that object and moves toward it. Write a recursive method named CheckDistance, that checks whether the faery is very close to the object clicked by the user. If it is, the faery bends over to touch the object. After the faery touches the object, the object disappears (this is the base case of the recursion). If the faery is not yet close enough to the object to be able to touch it, the faery moves a small distance forward and the CheckDistance method is recursively called (this is the recursive case of the recursion). Include instructions for the game that appears…arrow_forwardComputer Science C# Programming Object Orientation Please use Arrays or ArrayLists where appropriate Implement a menu driven program that has some operations for a food truck. A food truck has multiple food items as well as a menu which contains a selection of the food items which will be sold for that day. A maximum of 10 food items can appear on the menu for any day. For each food item keep a code, description, category, price and quantity in stock (code, description and category are not usually changed). Create a comma delimited text file called "items.txt" for 15 or more food items, indicating the item's description, category, price and quantity in stock. Read all the food items from the text file “Items.txt” Display all the food items available for this food truck. Continuously prompt the user for a food item’s code to be placed on the menu until the menu is full or the user enters -1. Note that only food items which have a positive quantity in stock may be added to…arrow_forward
- Monty Hall Problem – Coding Lab In this lab, you will write a code that simulates the Monty Hall Game Show. Thegame host gives the participant the choice of selecting one of three doors. Twodoors has a goat behind them and one door has a prize. The set of choices arerandomized each round. The participant needs to select the door with the prizebehind it. When the participant selects a door, the game host reveals a door with agoat behind it. The game host opens a door (different from the one selected by theparticipant) that has a goat behind it. The participant is then given the option tochange their choice. When you run your code, the code would display a message prompting the user toinput their door choice, labelled as 1, 2, and 3. Then the code will display a doornumber (different from the one the user picked) with a goat behind it and ask theuser if they would like to change their choice. The code then displays a message onwhether the user guessed the correct door. The game then…arrow_forwardThe Spider Game Introduction: In this assignment you will be implementing a game that simulates a spider hunting for food using python. The game is played on a varying size grid board. The player controls a spider. The spider, being a fast creature, moves in the pattern that emulates a knight from the game of chess. There is also an ant that slowly moves across the board, taking steps of one square in one of the eight directions. The spider's goal is to eat the ant by entering the square it currently occupies, at which point another ant begins moving across the board from a random starting location. Game Definition: The above Figure illustrates the game. The yellow box shows the location of the spider. The green box is the current location of the ant. The blue boxes are the possible moves the spider could make. The red arrow shows the direction that the ant is moving - which, in this case, is the horizontal X-direction. When the ant is eaten, a new ant is randomly placed on one of the…arrow_forwardHappy Learning (this is a fictional scenario) The kindergarten allows the parents (caretakers) to select daily the menu for lunch. There are over 40 possible items to be included in the lunch menu. For a lunch item we keep a 4 digits code, its name (up to 28 characters), and the number of calories (an integer). A parent (caretaker) can make for each of his/her children a lunch order everyday. All orders made are stored. If no order is made in a day the last order made will be provided. An order consists of maximum 6 items. Same item cannot be ordered multiple times in the same order. The order does not store the caretaker who made the order. The Entities are: PARENT, CHILD, MENU, ORDER 1. Relationship Strength: Weak or Strong? 2. Relationship Type: (M:1, 1:1 etc) 3. What are the Cardinalities? PARENT to CHILD? CHILD to ORDER? ORDER to MENU? Please don't copy and paste answers from other sources, Thank You!arrow_forward
- Exercises: PolymorphismProblem 1. VehiclesWrite a program that models 2 vehicles (Car and Truck) and will be able to simulate driving and refueling them inthe summer. Car and truck both have fuel quantity, fuel consumption in liters per km and can be driven givendistance and refueled with given liters. But in the summer both vehicles use air conditioner and their fuelconsumption per km is increased by 0.9 liters for the car and with 1.6 liters for the truck. Also the truck has a tinyhole in his tank and when it gets refueled it gets only 95% of given fuel. The car has no problems when refueling andadds all given fuel to its tank. If vehicle cannot travel given distance its fuel does not change.Input On the first line - information about the car in format {Car {fuel quantity} {liters per km}} On the second line – info about the truck in format {Truck {fuel quantity} {liters per km}} On third line - number of commands N that will be given on the next N lines On the next N lines –…arrow_forwardTic-Tac-Toe For this question, you will be implementing a simple Tic-Tac-Toe game without the graphics. Here is how it works: • First, it is randomly determined if the user starts the game or the computer and this information is shown to the user. The player who starts always starts as "X". • The players (computer and the user) will then take turns in playing. The computer will choose a random empty spot on its turn. The user enters its choice in the console. • Each of the empty spots have a corresponding number that the players choose on their turn. If the user enters anything other than the number of an empty spot (not yet filled with "X" or "O"), it will not be accepted, and they will be prompted to enter a correct number. 2 4 7 8 • After each turn, two things need to be done: 1) displaying the updated board 2) checking if anyone has won (it should be printed who has won – the user or the computer). The game goes on until someone wins or until all the 9 empty spots are filled and no…arrow_forwardOnline Billing System in Java This java project is based on calculating online bills without any manual calculation. - In C# language using Microsoft Visual Studio in Windows Forms App (.NET Framework) A slot machine is a gambling device that the user inserts money into and then pulls a lever (or presses a button). The slot machine then displays a set of random images. If two or more of the images match, the user wins an amount of money, which the slot machine dispenses back to the user. Design a program that simulates a slot machine. When the program runs, it should do the following: Ask the user to enter the amount of money he or she wants to insert into the slot machine. Create an application that simulates a slot machine. The application should let the user enter into a TextBox the amount of money he or she is inserting into the machine. When the user clicks the Spin button, the application should display three randomly selected symbols. (Slot machines traditionally display fruit symbols.arrow_forwardSevens rule, zeros drool def seven_zero(n): Seven is considered a lucky number in Western cultures, whereas zero is what nobody wants to be. Let us briefly bring these two opposites together by looking at positive integers that consist of some solid sequence of sevens, followed by some (possibly empty) solid sequence of zeros. Examples integers of this form are 7, 77777, 7700000, 77777700, and 70000000000000. A surprising theorem proves that for any positive integer n, there exist infinitely many integers of such seven- zero form that are divisible by n. This function should return the smallest such seven-zero integer. Even though discrete math and number theory help, this exercise is not about coming up with a clever symbolic formula and the proof of its correctness. This is rather about iterating through the numbers of this constrained form of sevens and zeros efficiently and correctly in strictly ascending order, so that the function can mechanistically find the smallest working…arrow_forward9. Trivia Game In this programming exercise, you will create a simple trivia game for two players. The program will work like this: Starting with player 1, each player gets a turn at answering 5 trivia questions. (There should be a total of 10 questions.) When a question is displayed, 4 possible answers are also displayed. Only one of the answers is correct, and if the player selects the correct answer, he or she earns a point. After answers have been selected for all the questions, the program displays the number of points earned by each player and declares the player with the highest number of points the winner. To create this program, write a Question class to hold the data for a trivia question. The Question class should have attributes for the following data: A trivia question Possible answer 1 Possible answer 2 Possible answer 3 Possible answer 4 The number of the correct answer (1, 2, 3, or 4) The Question class also should have an appropriate _…arrow_forward
