The reason as to why different stereoisomers on treatment with $\text{KOH}$ give different products is to be stated.

Concept introduction:

In anti-elimination, $\text{β}$ hydrogen is abstracted by base from the opposite side of the leaving the group. On the other hand, $\text{β}$ hydrogen is abstracted by base from the same side of leaving the group. Anti-elimination is more favorable than syn-elimination.
