To write: The sequence of steps and the net reaction for the biosynthesis of phosphatidylcholine by the salvage pathway and the cost of the synthesis of this pathway.

Introduction:

Phosphatidylcholines are a class of phospholipids which incorporate choline in the head group. The phosphatidylcholines contains oleic acid, arachidonic acid, palmitic acid, and steric acid. The synthesis of phosphatidylcholine occurs in endoplasmic reticulum and it uses cytidine triphosphate ( $\text{CTP}$ ).
