Which metals would use for the production of aluminium has to be explained.
Concept introduction:
Electrolysis is the key process involved in Hall process. The smelting or separation of aluminium from its ores is done by Hall process. This is the major industrial method for smelting of aluminum. So, we use molten aluminum salt as raw material for the electrolysis process in Hall process.- By using reducing agents we can also reduce the aluminium ion into aluminium metal.
