Introduction:

T cells (Thymic lymphocyte) are the kind of lymphocytes that develop within the thymus gland but originate from the bone marrow. These cells are differentiated from the bone-marrow lymphocytes (B cells) through the T-cell receptor on the cell surface. The helper T-cells are the most important cells of adaptive immunity because they activate the cytotoxic T-cells to kill infected target cells. B cells are stimulated to secrete antibodies by the helper T-cells in order to destroy the foreign antigen.
