Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation:

If the wavefunction has $n_1=2$ and $n_2=2$, the positions at which the probability density is maximum for a particle in a square box of length $L$ have to be predicted.  The positions of nodes present in the wavefunction have to be determined.

Concept introduction:

The probability density is given by the square of the wavefunction.  It is used to determine the location of a particle.  Probability density of a wavefunction is always positive.  Probability density is maximum at the regions where particle is located.  It can be maximum at more than one places.  It is zero at the region where nodes are present.
