Database Management System), the supertype is the one of the entity type and it has a relationship with one or more subtypes. - The supertype contains attributes that are common to its subtypes.
Subtype entity:
- Subtype contains unique attributes, but it is different from each subtype.
- The subtype entities are subgroups of the supertype entity.
