Concept Introduction :
By using hydrogen NMR, it is possible to determine how many hydrogens in each molecule which gives only the relative number of hydrogens and not the absolute. The peaks obtained from the H-NMR indicates that either there is one hydrogen or more than 2 hydrogens based on the size of the peak but it cannot determine how many hydrogens. For which the ratio is to eb compared to determine the absolute hydrogen.
