One very old method of sending secret messages is to hide the message inside another (usually longer) message. A few possible cases are illustrated by the following questions.
a. Assume Loud=' THUNDERSTORM' ,
What is placed in Fate by the command Fate= Loud ( [5, 10, 1 0 , 121);
b. What is in Hidden after the following two MATLAB commands are executed?
C. Assume composer= 'Beethoven' ;
Replace a single letter in composer with a blank and place the result in the variable Root _crop_cooker . The contents of this new variable should be appropriate for the variable name.
d. Assume the following are defined:
What is placed in Msg by the following command?
e. You wish to send the secret message “April first” to a colleague. Conceal this message inside another text string stored in Hide. The string in Hide should be a complete sentence or phrase, not merely gibberish
For your answer, show both the MATLAB statement that creates Hide and the MATLAB command that would be used to extract the message hidden within and place it in Message.
