It is important to remember that each area of learning and development does not work in isolation but they are all in fact interlinked. Good quality activities will cover more than one area of development. The Nursery set out many different activities for the Children. This is designed for them for the different areas that they develop within the Nursery. They are set to reach all the areas of learning, Personal social and emotional development, communication language and literacy development, problem solving reasoning and numeracy, knowledge and understanding of the world, physical development and creative development. With all these different resources the Children begin to recognize their skills and how to use them. For an example, in the toddler room the creative area always has something out, the toddlers can then sit at the table, start to do mark making on the paper and realize they are drawing on paper. I believe that children should participate in organized activities that they show interest in. Imagitive and creative play is important as well but if you pick the right activities your child can learn to be creative and more imagitive by just participating. If a kid wants to be good at something hes going to use whatever skills hes aquired to try his best.Children that dont have the freedom to choose activities based on their interest may not try to do their best because it doesnt really matter to them personally.

Should we provide our children with free time to engage in imaginative and creative play or more important to ensure that our children participate in organized activities? Well, my opinion I will ensure that my children participate in organized activities. Even though kids need to experience creative play to learn how to express themselves, become independent thinkers, and interact with peers, I believe that organized activities help children develop healthy attitudes toward themselves now and in the future.

I personally believe that having both a time for creative play and organized activities are both very important. I think taking the time for both are vital to the development of children. They are important for many reasons.

When reflecting on the challenges that I face as a teacher, some major challenges quickly stand out. Such obstacles are overpopulated classrooms, excessive paperwork, and limited resources. Even though these challenges are the first that come to mind, they are not my biggest hurdles. The two most significant challenges to me are the restraints from time and balancing personal life and work.
